There is NO TRYING - ONLY DOING.

     When something is important enough to you, you'll do what's necessary to reach whatever your goal may be. The idea of giving up is not an option. Now, nobody is perfect and we all have our less than optimal days, weeks, months, and yeah- even years. I am a firm believer that no mistake or circumstance is beyond recovery. Limitations are self imposed and when you believe in a possibility, it becomes a reality. There is only work in between. Will you do it or will you quit?

     There's an awesome quote by Confucius that says "It doesn't matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop". This resonates with me on such a deep level. Beyond what my mind can comprehend of just the words. I think that progress is what connects our mind, body, & spirit. When we're progressing in each of these aspects in our life- we are truly fulfilled. There is peace and oneness is this sacred space of interconnectedness. 

     This blog (and my entire journey) is about advancing myself to my highest capabilities. My mind is flooded with ideas from books and the nerd in me squeals each time I sit to watch something on the science channel. Reading personal development, attending workshops, and watching a variety of educational and inspirational videos and/or documentaries are what help keep me mentally focused. I've been considering using the luminosity app that increases brain functions through games, but haven't yet. If anyone has any info on whether or not they like it, I'd love to hear from you. I welcome honest opinions..it might help me decide one way or another if it's worth it.

     Live life to the fullest and don't take anything for granted is often a saying we hear and..ironically...take for granted. Really try your best to value your relationships. Make legitimate and genuine connections. Don't TRY things- Just DO them. Do them the best you can. There is no failure if a lesson is learned and you refuse to give up. Your mind produces thoughts which will become your beliefs, then your habits. Be mindful and train your brain to focus on positive aspects in everything.
